Bold and refreshing aromas of berries, with a complex flavor and acidity. Full-bodied and adventurous. Kuro Kabuto, or “Black Helmet”, is the first sake to be brewed with black koji, and has not undergone carbon filtration. It’s name originates from the fact that when one looks at black koji rice under the microscope, it looks like a black helmet.
