Brewery: Uchigasaki
Uchigasaki was founded in 1620 by Uchigasaki Sakuemon, and it is one of the oldest sake breweries in Japan. Uchigasaki’s father, Uchigasaki Oribe built the village in which the brewery is located by order of the famous samurai Date Masamune. The original brewery is a historical landmark of the region.
