We are a local wine and spirits wholesale distributor based in Austin, TX. We offer an exclusive line of jizake, shochu, umeshu, and beer to restaurants, hotels, and retailers. Our distinctive approach to supporting and to promoting sake culture is at the core of our business. With restaurant-staff training, tasting events, and brewery seminars, the ambition is to bridge the gap between brewery and consumer, to create an open forum, and to further an intimate understanding of the art and intricacy of sake.

our history
Genji Sake launched in the summer of 2016, as the sister company of the established local seafood and sushi purveyor, Minamoto Foods. Witnessing the sushi and ramen boom in Texas, we saw the market for premium sake growing alongside it. We are now the purveyor for Mutual Trading Sake in Texas, with the intentions of setting the standard for quality beverage distribution and education.

The company is made up of three partners and a small team of certified Kiki-Sake-Shi, or Sake Sommeliers, who use expertise and outstanding service to bring unique sake into restaurants, bars and retailers in the Texas area.
